A Freedom Maker's Impact On Social Media Outreach

Good stewards of the land.

MoonCrest Valley Ranch LLC, is a family-owned property nestled in Half Moon Bay, California. The ranch, owned by Brendan O'Donnell and his wife, Amanda, reached out to us in February 2023 in search of a virtual assistant. They were specifically looking for a Freedom Maker to bolster their social media and digital marketing efforts.

"We looked to Freedom Makers for support with our Social Media accounts. This would include taking content and improving the quality of our storytelling through videos, pictures, and audio tracks. The desired end state was for a Freedom Maker to run with minimal guidance and to be able to capture our authentic voice as a family and a business."

Brendan envisioned a Freedom Maker who could seamlessly integrate the Ranch's authentic voice into the digital realm. He was seeking a talented virtual assistant who could capture the essence of their family and business. Brendan worked with our internal team to find Allison, a Marine Corps spouse currently living in Quantico, VA.

Allison has a strong background in social media management, client onboarding, marketing, content creation, and experience with process and systems setup. Brendan felt confident that she would be able to execute at a high level and provide insights and advice to level up their approach to social media.

Allison explains:

"I currently take the pictures and videos Brendan provides and curate Instagram and Facebook content. The goal is to share a glimpse of their family ranch and life in Half Moon Bay, CA. Their mission is to improve the land and share it with others. We have weekly phone calls to discuss any upcoming events or happenings on the Ranch and brainstorm the best content to share."
