Marketing Manager

Sarah leads the company’s marketing strategy, brand messaging, and content direction. She oversees FMVS’s newsletters, blog and SEO initiatives, social media planning, and storytelling efforts, ensuring the FMVS brand is clear, consistent, and compelling across every channel. Sarah collaborates closely with the rest of the team to drive visibility, support lead generation, and highlight the impact of military-affiliated virtual talent.


Sarah first joined Freedom Makers in 2016 as a virtual assistant specializing in marketing execution, supporting clients with podcast production, blog writing, and digital content. She transitioned to the internal team in 2022, bringing her editorial background and creative eye to FMVS’s long-term marketing vision. Before her remote work career, Sarah spent nearly a decade as a creative television producer and journalist for national news outlets including CNN, PBS, and Fox News. She holds a BA in English from the College of the Holy Cross.


As the spouse of an active-duty Marine, Sarah is passionate about advancing opportunities for military families and supporting community organizations. She enjoys walking her dog, spending time outdoors, and exploring new places with her husband and their four children.
