Thankful Now and Grateful Throughout the Year

Sarah Clarkson • Nov 22, 2022
A person is holding a sign that says `` grateful '' in their hands.

As we approach Thanksgiving and the holiday season, it is the perfect time to reflect on our good fortune and express our enduring gratitude.

A Freedom Makers Virtual Services, we are grateful for our clients, partners, consultants, small business allies, the veteran community, and our extraordinary military spouses that are our business's most valuable assets.

WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR OUR CLIENTS

Because we are a small business, we are proud that our business model supports the growth of other small businesses. It is proven that outsourcing tasks to a
virtual assistant is an important step when an entrepreneur is ready to scale. A virtual assistant can free up critical brain space for innovation and big-picture growth! But bringing on help can require a leap of faith, so we are always grateful for the small business owners who trust us to help them find the perfect virtual assistant for what they need. We work hard to create "perfect pairings" and endeavor for each client-Freedom Maker match to be a long-lasting, productive relationship.

Our clients believe in our mission and have seen the benefits of utilizing all that military spouses can bring to their businesses. Here are some of the things they have expressed in the way of gratitude for their Freedom Maker:

  • Rebecca B: We absolutely love Alison! She's a great fit for us and has been working hard to help our social media grow and succeed.

  • Brandon J: Sarah is a vital member of the Tier One Life Insurance team. She routinely makes suggestions to improve and grow the business. One of the best decisions I made for the business this year was teaming up with her!

  • Hillary V: Paige has been an absolute game-changer for us. I have been able to schedule so many more meetings, which means we are getting paid sooner and able to take on more cases thanks to the wonderful work Paige is doing and taking off my plate. Bringing her on has been one of the best business decisions we've made, and we have loved getting to know her.

  • Erica B: Breanna is working out great! She takes great care of my books and always asks if something is unclear or does not make sense. She also will suggest best practices when asked about them.

  • Robert H: Things are going well with Samantha. She is very quick to complete what I need help with. I am looking for more ways to include her in my business!

We are enormously grateful that our clients share news of their success with us - and with their friends and colleagues! We have been able to grow our business due in significant part to word-of-mouth referrals. Our client's confidence in us has, in turn, allowed us to provide more meaningful work opportunities to our talented military spouses.

WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR OUR COMMUNITY

We are grateful for the veteran community of which we are a part. A shared entrepreneurial spirit of giving and support exists among those who have answered the call to serve our nation. Our own Air Force veteran founder, Laura, is always looking for ways to contribute to the veteran and military spouse entrepreneurial circle. We now offer virtual networking events in the form of All Calls and a
directory of vetted businesses on our website. These partners actively look to support veterans and military spouse-owned businesses or link to products created by talented veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs.

WE ARE GRATEFUL FOR OUR MILITARY SPOUSES

And, of course, we are grateful for our military spouses! Because of their service mindset, they make fantastic, talented, committed, and professional virtual assistants. The
military spouses that work as Freedom Makers are determined, resilient, and proactive. They know how to persevere and thrive in the dynamic and fluid work environments small businesses often experience, and their dedication to their clients makes us incredibly proud.

Finally, our military spouse Freedom Makers are grateful to - and for - their clients! They are thankful to have the opportunity to contribute to their family finances and to build a career that fits the needs of their busy, daily lives. Freedom Makers Virtual Services' mission is to connect military spouses with the small businesses that need them.  On the whole, our Freedom Makers are grateful to be working remotely in a field that allows them to take their job with them when the military moves their family.

Supporting spouses in this way is how we endeavor to "give back" to a community that gives so much to the defense of our nation.

Thanksgiving is a terrific time to slow down and take a good look at the things in one's life that bring joy, peace, and happiness.  At Freedom Makers Virtual Services, we are grateful for our clients, our Freedom Makers, our partners, and all those who believe in and support
our mission.  We are also grateful for the challenges we’ve faced and the discussions we’ve had that have inspired us to grow.  We look forward to the year ahead and all that it will bring!

Happy Thanksgiving!
