Moon Crest Valley Ranch is a family-owned and operated property in Half Moon Bay, California. After spending years as a Marine and then working in the tech industry, Ranch owner Brendan O'Donnell and his wife, Amanda, purchased the 45-acre parcel in 2015. Because they believe in being good stewards of the land, they work hard to care for the property while inviting others to share in all that it offers. Brendan and Amanda are raising their young, busy family on the Ranch and have created an environment where people can connect, hike, and stay overnight.

Brendan reached out to Freedom Makers in February 2023. He needed help with the Ranch's social media presence and wanted to outsource his digital marketing needs to a Freedom Maker. Brendan liked Freedom Makers' mission of supporting military spouses. He says,

Brendan explained the Ranch's needs. "We looked to Freedom Makers for support with our Social Media accounts. This would include taking content and improving the quality of our storytelling through videos, pictures, and audio tracks. The desired end state was for [a Freedom Maker] to run with minimal guidance and to be able to capture our authentic voice as a family and a business."

Our internal team got to work pre-screening candidates for Brendan. After interviewing several qualified virtual assistants, Brendan selected Allison, a Marine Corps Spouse currently living in Quantico, VA. Her profile shows a strong background in social media management, client onboarding, marketing, content creation, and process and systems setup experience.

The goal is to share a glimpse of their family ranch and life in Half Moon Bay, CA. Their mission is to improve the land and share it with others. We have weekly phone calls to discuss any upcoming events or happenings on the Ranch and brainstorm the best content to share."
